By-Laws of All Saints Alliance

"That in all things Jesus Christ might have the preeminence," and that "all things be done decently and in order," as enjoined by the Apostle Paul, the All Saints Church Alliance is to be governed by its Constitution and these By-Laws in the administration of all matters of business and concern.

The purpose of the All Saints Church Alliance is to promote unity, discipleship and love in the Body of Christ [John 17:11; Matthew 29:18-20; John 15:17] throughout the world, in all meetings of the International Conventions, the deliberations of the Board of Directors, the Regional Conventions, the State or Local Meetings, and the work and activities of the All Saints Church Alliance officers, this purpose shall be the motivating principle.

Other considerations in the activities of the All Saints Church Alliance include: will this action exalt the Lord Jesus Christ? Will it incline to Serve, Empower/Equip and Awaken God’s Servants and the worldwide body of Christ to become more Prayerful, Dynamic and Relevant in their service and Christian witness. And will such an action serve to bring men and women into a saving knowledge of our Lord and promote the best interests of the All Saints Church Alliance.

ARTICLE 1

Purpose of Being

1. In the letters of the Apostle Paul we read about the various members of the Body of Christ functioning in different capacities, and that God has prescribed certain offices in the Church, and designated specific ministries, and the ASCA acknowledges these services. However, it is not the objective of this body to cultivate and support all of the various orders of Christian Service.

2. We recognize two categories in Christian Ministries: the Clergy [Ordained or Licensed Ministers] and the laity.

3. The Clergy category includes men and women who are Ordained or Licensed for Holy Ministry. These persons may be serving the Body of Christ as Bishops, Apostles, Pastors, Chaplains, Evangelists, Missionaries, Teachers, or other specialized ministries.

4. The laity is one who serves in Christian ministry but is neither Licensed nor ordained.

5. We affirm the above two categories in accordance to one’s calling and ministry

6. Ministerial credentials which include a Certificates and an identification card are issued to all persons licensed or ordained by the ASCA.
